The long-awaited Packing Slip has now been introduced by Xero, if you have the new invoicing feature turned on. Easy to switch on if not – just click ‘switch to new invoicing’.
The Packing Slip will show contact details, items, and quantity. It will not show payments details or amounts.
It will also show a delivery address, as well as the separate billing address, if you have these details set up under the contact details heading.
They are easy to print off, when you are in the approved invoice from the drop-down print PDF button, select the new Packing Slip – couldn’t be simpler!
Did you know…under sales invoicing you can also set credit limits and set up invoice reminders to follow up on overdue amounts. If this isn’t yet set up, it might be worth taking a look to see how you can use these additional features in Xero to make your life easier.
