This year, we will be supporting a new charity in YMCA Downslink as well as the Clock Tower Sanctuary and Ronald McDonald House Brighton.
YMCA DownsLink Group offers a wide range of services to vulnerable, local people across Sussex and Surrey. The charity provide accommodation to over 750 young people every day and reach over 15,000 children through projects in the local community such as counselling, mentoring and mental health.
The YMCA Youth Advice Centre (YAC) in Brighton supports 1,700 young people in crisis every year by providing housing, mental health, finance and more!
To help YMCA, we have made a donation to directly support in the following;
- Providing a safe space to access emotional, health and wellbeing services, helping with any worry or issue
- Family mediation, supporting young people through difficulties at home, preventing homelessness
- Providing support and advice for young people who are at risk, or threatened with homelessness
