On Friday 28 August, the team at Plus Accounting took a trip to Brighton Footgolf for a fun and competitive social activity!
As the name might suggest, Footgolf is a mix of Football and Golf and it’s effectively where you play golf but instead of using a golf ball and clubs, you use a football and your feet. The fewer shots you take to get your ball into the hole, the better the score!
Despite a downpour of rain on arrival, the weather held out as the team (split into 3 groups) completed the 9-hole course.
In Group 1, Sam came out on top with a score of 47 but Paul and Gemma were not too far behind in 2nd and 3rd.
As for the second group, Hayley came 1st with a very impressive score of 38 which was the best of the day! Hayley’s friend, Sadie was agonisingly close with 41 with Vic and Peter coming in 3rd and 4th.
Finally, it was very close in Group 3 with just four points separating the top 3 with Mark prevailing as the winner ahead of Chris, James and Lucy.
After everyone had completed the 9-hole course, Fratello Pizza Co provided us with some delicious pizza’s as we waited for the scores to be announced.
