25 years is a great milestone for any business and we thought it was only right to put Paul and Peter on the spot and ask them where it all began.

How did it all start?
Paul Feist started the firm on 1 July 1992 and Peter Hedgethorne joined just over a month later.
How did you get to where you are now?
Paul and Peter hired a small office in Marlborough Place, central Brighton and Feist Hedgethorne Limited was born!
What has been challenging?
Biggest challenge was moving to Preston Park House, as a team of 12 it was a big decision but it has enabled the firm to grow to 25.
What highlights have there been?
Peter – Tax Tribunal case against HMRC which was won and is now listed as a leading case.
Paul – 20th Anniversary with the rebrand to Plus Accounting as this has been the catalyst for the growth over the last 5 years.
How has it been working together for quarter of a century?
Pretty good!! Both bring different skill sets to the business with Paul being the driver for change and Peter being the technical expert in all things tax!
What is the key to your success?
It has to be the development of the Plus Approach – this has brought together the core values of the business, being genuinely interested in our clients’ businesses and they appreciate us having an opinion.
What’s next?
More of the same!! We are in vibrant business community which is great to be part of!
