Looking for something to do to while away the time on New Year’s Day…….why not join the 2,616 people who filed their 2017/18 tax returns on Christmas Day?! Apparently 204 of these were filed between midnight and 4am, presumably by those trying to stay awake and catch Santa making his deliveries!
On a more serious note, if you are one of the minority who has not yet sent your 2017/18 tax information to your accountant, now could be the last opportunity to give us the chance to get the tax return prepared and submitted before the 31 January deadline, and to give you an idea of how much tax will be due for payment on that date.
