On Saturday 21 December, the local charity Same Sky staged its annual procession through the streets of Brighton. Despite the wind and the torrential rain, this fantastic procession of luminous lanterns and sculptures created to celebrate the winter solstice went ahead as planned.
This year’s theme related to shared memories and lost things and the enormous animal sculptures included a dodo, dragon and a dinosaur. One of our directors, Chris Morey, who is a Trustee of Same Sky carried the Dragon (photo above) from New Road to the beach where it was placed on the bonfire.
