Big changes are coming to Xero with the launch of a new line-up of plans for UK customers, as well as changes to pricing for current Xero business plan subscriptions in the UK.
In May, Xero announced changes to their plans in the UK as part of their efforts to simplify their offerings. From 12 September, Xero will introduce new plans named Xero Ignite, Xero Grow, and Xero Comprehensive. These will replace the current Starter, Standard, and Premium plans. Xero users can opt to stay on their current plan until Xero moves you, or you can choose to move yourself once the new plans launch on 12 September 2024.
For those on the Standard plan (soon to be Grow), you’ll enjoy additional features. Xero is also enhancing the Ultimate plan to provide business owners with a whole array of tools, including multi-currency support, payroll, expenses, projects, and Xero Analytics Plus for improved cash flow management.
New pricing for these packages are as follows;
- Ignite plan – £16 per month + VAT
- Grow plan – £33 per month + VAT
- Comprehensive plan – £47 per month + VAT
- Ultimate (Enhanced) plan – £59 per month + VAT
For the majority of customers, whose subscription plans will either include the same or more features at the same or lower price, the transition will occur in February 2025.
For those customers who will experience a price increase due to the new subscription plan they’re being migrated to, Xero will postpone the transition until September 2025.
