The Grounded Events Company is a dynamic young company, responsible for organising and delivering a number of successful mass participation events in the UK.

The Brighton Marathon is one of the UK's favourite 26.2-milers. With a stunning backdrop of the sea in one of the country's most vibrant cities, the race gets bigger and better every year.

Renowned for its buzzing atmosphere and roaring crowd support, the course winds through the city streets, finishing up on the spectacular Brighton seafront.

How long have you been a client of Plus Accounting?

We started working with Plus Accounting just over two years ago.

Why did you choose Plus Accounting?

I went to a seminar co-organised by Plus Accounting and our bank, Allied Irish Bank, which focussed on some key issues for a business like ours. I knew Peter Hedgethorne, and he explained how he felt Plus Accounting could help our relatively young and growing company.

What services of Plus Accounting do you use?

A member of the Plus Accounting team gives us weekly finance management support, and I work with Jamie Young, who helps me with annual financial planning, and supports our strategic business planning.

How has the firm helped your company develop?

Installed diligent financial practices; help set-up improved financial planning; helped us to build a five year financial plan.

Are there any specific areas/issues that we have helped you with?

The Plus Accounting team have helped us install Xero to manage our finances, and support weekly to ensure we have accurate records that we can use for day to day management and planning.

Would you be happy to recommend the firm and why?

I would be very happy to recommend the team at Plus Accounting, they are forward thinking, help find solutions for problems and enjoyable to work with.
